The School of Engineering, Technology and Maritime Operations is a great environment in which to study. It is a leading engineering and maritime Schools which delivers modern inter-disciplinary design and technology programmes, and is an internationally recognised centre of excellence in both engineering and maritime education and research. We aim to give our students as many opportunities to apply their knowledge and skills as possible. This includes supporting extra curricula activities such as the Formula Student Racing Team whose 2012 entry achieved second UK placed team in the competition at Silverstone, and the School’s Product Innovation Show held in July in which final year students from the School’s group of Product Innovation and Design, and Media Production programmes displayed their work to employers.
